Mr. Cord’s direct approach to investment management, marketing, and promotion results in creative solutions for owners across the country. Prior to the formation of BWC Mr. Cord focused on asset management and development collaborating with Advisors Real Estate Asset Services (“AREAS”) and Foothill Partners, Inc., respectively. Mr. Cord’s positions include President of Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors with thirty offices, six hundred professionals and 20 million square feet under management. Mr. Cord was Managing Director of Voit Real Estate Management Services overseeing operations of more than 14,000,000 square feet in three southwestern states. He joined Voit from Cassidy Turley where he was Senior Managing Director of Property Management Northern California. In that role, he was responsible for the overall leadership, strategic focus, and profitability of the property management division in Northern California with more than 25,000,000 square feet under management. Mr. Cord spent five years at Kennedy Wilson where he was responsible for asset and property management of a national portfolio of mixed-use properties more than 14,000,000 square feet in his respective regions which included assets in Illinois, Texas, Florida, California, and Nevada. During that time, he repositioned commercial real estate investments in office, industrial, retail, business parks and class A office high-rise while assisting in the sourcing and underwriting of properties for the various KW funds. Mr. Cord also has experience as CEO, President, and founder of Cord Commercial, Inc. where he specialized in the asset management of Taft Hartley Trust commercial real estate portfolios throughout the Western United States. Mr. Cord served for 3 years at CB Richard Ellis in Sacramento as Managing Director responsible for overseeing the operations of the region’s largest commercial real estate services firm and has held leadership positions at TRI Commercial Real Estate Services and Grubb & Ellis Company, both in the greater San Francisco Bay Area.

Mr. Cord earned a B.S. in Landscape Architecture from University of California in Davis, is married with two grown children, and resides in Loomis, California. Mr. Cord enjoys hiking and travel.
